As part of the global Dentsu Aegis agency network, the design for the Isobar headquarters reinforces their core values while allowing for flexibility to adapt to change. Following a number immersion workshops, research and stakeholder engagement, the strategic workplace design was developed around the symbiotic and complex exchanges observed between Isobar and Dentsu network ecosystems, using the coral reef as a conceptual analogy. The workspace design accommodates specific interactions between diverse team members while enabling opportunities for unplanned connection and sharing.

Every zone encourages varying interactions and possibilities, with technology always the hero. Circulation spaces serve as dynamic, informal meeting place and communal areas switch from work mode to event and hospitality space. Custom designed ‘working walls’ and workstations with modular, moveable panels delineate teams while encouraging collaboration, while communal seating and bleacher in the canteen allow for a multitude of uses. Like coral, the Dentsu/Isobar community is a living ‘knowledge organism’ that grows, shifts and adapts within a constantly changing digital environment.
